What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
"Haikyu!!" is an anime adaptation of a popular youth sports manga by Haruichi Furudate. Originally serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" by Shueisha since 2012, the story revolves around high school volleyball. It follows Karasuno High School, once known as a "fallen powerhouse" or "flightless crow," as they strive to reclaim their former glory and reach the top. The series features Shoyo Hinata, a passionate volleyball enthusiast, and a cast of unique characters, weaving a compelling tale of determination and teamwork. In August 2022, it was announced that a sequel to the anime would be released as a two-part theatrical production.
