Are you trying to avoid getting drenched when you go out? Before you leave, take a quick look at our rain radar and rain graph. This way, you can step out confidently, knowing exactly what the weather has in store for you!
The Buienradar app kicks off with either a 3-hour or a 24-hour rain radar forecast. The rain radar image will show you if rain is expected in the upcoming hours or even the next day. Below the radar, you'll find the rain graph, which provides a detailed view of when it will rain and the expected rainfall amount in millimeters. For a closer look at your specific city or town, simply tap the magnifying glass icon to zoom in.
The Buienradar app is available for your Android phone and tablet. With the handy widget featuring the rain graph, you can check for expected rain without even opening the app!
Exciting news: The Buienradar Wear OS app is back! You can now check the rain radar, rain graph, and the forecast for the coming hour right from your wrist. More features are on the way in the coming months. Please note, the Buienradar Watch App is exclusively available in the Google Play Store and supports only wearables running Android Wear OS.

You can also access personalized weather information in the “Komende uren in” table (Next 8 hours weather prediction) for your favorite location, even abroad. This includes hour-to-hour predictions for temperature, feeling temperature, rainfall in millimeters per hour, the chance of rain, and wind force in Beaufort.
In addition to thunderstorm, snow, sun, wind, and temperature maps, we offer data on wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, gusts, visibility, and humidity. We also provide exact times for sunrise and sunset specific to your location.
We offer seasonal radar maps as well. In the summer, you can utilize our pollen and mosquito radars for timely notifications about when to hang up your mosquito net. In winter, our snow radar keeps you informed about winter precipitation, and our ground temperature map alerts you about potential night frost.
In the “14-daagse” tab (14-day forecast), you'll find a graphical weather forecast for the next 14 days. Click on the “Lijst” tab for a detailed list view, which provides an hourly forecast for the next 7 days and a daily average for the second week.
In the “Meldingen” tab, you can set up your own rain alert with free push notifications, customized to your daily schedule and favorite locations, ensuring you're never caught off guard by rain or storms.
If you prefer an ad-free experience, we offer the Buienradar Premium plan for €4.99. You can easily find this option in “Instellingen” (Settings) and then select “Neem Buienradar Premium” (Get Buienradar Premium).
