Damasi Rules
Setup: The game is played on an 8×8 board with 16 pieces per player arranged in two rows, leaving the back row empty.
Movement: Men move forward or sideways one square and capture by jumping. Upon reaching the back row, a man is promoted to a king, which can move any number of squares in any direction—forward, backward, or sideways—capturing similarly.
Capturing: Pieces must capture when possible, choosing the sequence that captures the most pieces if multiple options exist. Captured pieces are removed immediately, allowing for complex capturing sequences where the same square can be crossed multiple times.
Endgame: The game concludes when a player has no valid moves left due to all pieces being captured or blocked, resulting in a win for the opponent.
Unique Rule: Unlike some variants, turning 180 degrees between captures in a multi-capture sequence is not permitted.
