MotorData Hybrid is the premier automotive diagnostic software for Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles. This hybrid app functions as an OBD2 scan tool, compatible with OBD2, EOBD, and JOBD protocols. Beyond simply reading and clearing trouble codes (DTCs), MotorData Hybrid provides comprehensive hybrid system diagnostics, assessing the health of the hybrid battery, inverter, gasoline engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, VSC, air conditioning, and other crucial systems.
Real-time Monitoring of High-Voltage System Components:
- High-voltage hybrid battery cell temperature
- Inverter, MG1, and MG2 temperatures
- HV battery diagnosis (SOC and Delta SOC)

The app also provides real-time data monitoring for engine and brake control systems, displaying parameters such as speed, acceleration, RPM, temperature, pressure, oxygen sensor data, short-term and long-term fuel trims, torque sensor data, and other key vehicle characteristics. MotorData Hybrid reads and clears DTCs, and provides Freeze Frame data. A built-in database offers detailed descriptions of P0xxx and P2xxx trouble codes. Enhanced functionality, including access to detailed hybrid system parameters, is unlocked through the purchase of the 'Toyota (Lexus) + Hybrid' plugin (found in the app's 'Plugins' section). A free trial is recommended to test compatibility with your vehicle, ELM327 adapter, and mobile device. During the trial, supported control units and parameters will be displayed, but some values will be masked with ## until the plugin is purchased.
The 'Reference' section (a paid plugin) offers comprehensive descriptions of Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicle warning and indicator lights—currently detailing 147 unique lamps.
