Easily check in with loved ones during any activity.
Hibou utilizes GPS tracking and built-in timers, letting you pursue your passions without worry. Whether it's a local hike, an afternoon skiing, or international travel, simply activate the in-app activity timer (up to 24 hours), and go. Upon safe return, end the timer. Need more time? Easily extend it with a button press.
In emergencies where calling for help isn't possible, Hibou provides vital assistance. If your timer expires, pre-selected contacts receive immediate notifications including your last known location.
Hibou also includes a daily automated wellness check. Scheduled reports can be submitted via the app, website, or phone. Missed reports trigger reminders (app notification, email, and/or phone call), followed by a grace period and additional reminders. If a report remains unsubmitted, your contacts are notified.
A dedicated help button instantly sends a notification and GPS location to your chosen contacts. While 9-1-1 is best for emergencies, this feature offers a flexible solution for other situations requiring assistance.
