Permissions

Lineage W requires certain permissions for optimal functionality. Optional permissions are not required for gameplay and can be managed in your device settings.

• Optional Permissions:
  • Storage (Image/Media/File): Used for screenshots, video recording, bulletin posts, inquiries, and profile pictures.
  • Microphone: Used for voice recognition (STT), video sound recording, and audio recording.
  • Notifications: Receive in-game information and promotions.

Permission Management (Android):

• Android 6.0 or higher: Manage permissions per access point (Device Settings > Privacy > Admin) or per app (Device Settings > Applications).

• Android versions below 6.0: Permission management is limited; permissions can only be removed by uninstalling the app. Upgrading to Android 6.0 or higher is recommended.
