After installation, you can place your MAME-compatible zipped ROMs in the /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms folder. Be aware that this version of MAME4droid uses the '0.269' romset, so ensure compatibility with your ROMs.
