Get ready, Zombies fans! A brand-new map is coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, courtesy of Treyarch. Prepare for the Mansion!
Black Ops 6: A New Zombies Map Arrives
Say Goodbye to Amalgams (Maybe)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its round-based Zombies mode with a fifth map. A sneak peek, unveiled on the official Call of Duty (X) Twitter and Treyarch's X account (March 12, 2025), shows a damaged mansion engulfed in flames. The caption, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" and the "#Zombies" hashtag, hints at the return of the familiar character from Call of Duty: Cold War. Given Black Ops 6 is a remake, Eddie Richtoften's reappearance is fitting.
Sharp-eyed fans have identified the location as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, set in February 1991 (as shown in the teaser image). This timeline aligns perfectly with the previous Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, suggesting a direct narrative continuation.
A significant change? Treyarch's Instagram confirms the absence of Amalgam enemies on this map. Responding to a fan comment about facing hordes of Amalgams, the developers simply stated, "Nope." This suggests a potentially smoother, less overwhelming experience for players, as Amalgams are notoriously tough Elite enemies.
