"Clue Mobile Now Features 2016 Suspects"

Marmalade Game Studio has thrilled fans of the classic murder-mystery game Clue, also known as Cluedo, by releasing the 2016 Suspects Pack for its digital version. If you're a fan of this timeless game, you're in for a treat as you can now dive back into the action with some of the iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The 2016 Suspects Pack brings back fan-favorite characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This pack focuses solely on these characters, allowing you the flexibility to integrate them into any crime scene or scenario you desire. Whether you choose to stick with your nostalgic favorite or mix them with the newer 2023 cast, the choice is entirely yours. This flexibility has been a major request from fans, especially those who felt the newer characters introduced in 2023 were a bit too modern. It's great to see Marmalade responding to their community's desires by bringing back these beloved suspects.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new game mode—the Retro Rules Set. This mode, available at no cost, lets you experience the game as it was played with the original 1949 rules. The Retro Rules Set revives some old-school mechanics that alter the way you move and make accusations. For instance, tokens will start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet always gets the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard takes the lead. Accusations can only be made while in a room, and Clue Cards are omitted from this mode. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players, adding a strategic layer to the game.

So, why wait? Head over to the Google Play Store and check out these exciting updates to Clue aka Cluedo. And before you go, don't forget to read our news on "A Game You Can Read, A Book You Can Play! It’s Your House: A Hidden Truth, Out Now."
