The DOOM community's boundless creativity knows no limits. Recently, NyanSatan achieved the seemingly impossible: running the classic DOOM on Apple's Lightning/HDMI adapter. This feat was accomplished by leveraging the adapter's built-in iOS-based firmware and 168 MHz processor. Due to the adapter's lack of internal memory, a MacBook was used to facilitate the firmware transfer and game execution.

Meanwhile, news on a new DOOM iteration surfaces. In DOOM: The Dark Ages, players will enjoy unprecedented levels of customization. The game aims for maximum accessibility, allowing players to adjust demon aggression in the settings. This focus on accessibility extends to modifying enemy damage, difficulty, projectile speed, damage taken, and even the game's overall tempo, aggression, and parry timing. Executive producer Marty Stratton emphasizes this accessibility, assuring players that understanding DOOM: The Dark Ages and DOOM: Eternal's plots requires no prior experience with either game.
