In Freedom Wars Remastered, customizing your loadout for operations is key to success. While your weapons and Thrones might not change frequently, Combat Items are essential consumables with diverse applications, and they're limited in supply. You'll receive some Combat Items as rewards from operations, but often not enough to fully prepare for the next mission. Initially, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time, but don't worry—there are ways to overcome these limitations.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip more Combat Items, you'll need to acquire specific Entitlements. From your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and choose "Claim Entitlements". Navigate to the Equipment section and scroll right to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each subsequent permit you unlock will increase your capacity to equip Combat Items, up to a maximum of four.
These story-based Entitlements become available quickly, and you can purchase all four permits by the time you reach CODE level 3. Note that you'll only see the next permit after purchasing the previous one. When you equip a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll have access to your entire stack at the start of an Operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can equip one Combat Item, which can be used at your discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
As you progress through the main story beyond the initial missions, you'll unlock The Warren, a HUB area. Here, you'll find Zakka, a store located on the upper story along the right side. Besides weapons, Zakka offers a "Buy Items" option, allowing you to purchase from the Munitions and Medical Supplies lists.
- Munitions include items that directly damage enemies during combat.
- Medical Supplies cover items that heal, cure ailments, or refill ammunition.
Each Combat Item is priced individually, and buying in bulk can be costly in terms of Entitlement Points. If you need a lot of Medkits, consider donating old resources. While Operations may occasionally reward you with Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time required and the risk of using more items than you gain.
