Among the weekly bosses introduced in each nation, the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire stands out as a particularly formidable foe. This colossal dragon, wielding dual swords, embodies the ancient ruler of Natlan, now corrupted by the Abyss. Similar to the Riftwolves from Inazuma, this boss inflicts the Corrosion effect, making the battle even more challenging. However, with the right strategies, defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire is within reach.
Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
To locate the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire, head to the Stone Stele Records domain, located just south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. This domain is housed within a shrine dedicated to those lost in the Natlan battle. Upon entering, players can claim rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly boss battles.
Access to this boss is unlocked by completing the final chapter of the Archon Quest: When All Becomes A Monument. Alternatively, players can bypass the story and challenge the boss through the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer’s Handbook.
How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
Successfully defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire largely depends on utilizing characters from Natlan, such as Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. Although the dragon remains mostly stationary, it will summon three Pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora, which can be quickly defeated with characters using Nightsoul Blessings.
Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing
For optimal efficiency, use characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina to destroy the summoned Pillars. These characters will significantly reduce the time needed to break the shields, preventing the dragon's Eroded Meteor strike. Once the pillars are destroyed, the dragon will be immobilized for about 10 seconds, providing a window to deal substantial damage.
If the pillars are not destroyed in time, equip a shield and switch to a healer like Furina or Kokomi to mitigate the corrosion damage from the meteor strike. Other healers like Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett can also be effective if you don't have the top-tier options.
Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon
Dodging the dragon's unpredictable attacks can be challenging. It often transforms into smoke and moves erratically around the arena, making it difficult to anticipate its next move. The dragon's primary attacks include sword slashes and smashes that can alter the battlefield, reducing the space available for dodging.
To maximize damage, stay close to the dragon and attack from underneath. Be cautious of its Eroded Dragon Breath attack, which inflicts Pyro and Erosion damage. Equip a shield and maintain constant healing to withstand this attack. If overwhelmed, retreat to the edge of the dragon's hands, where the breath attack does not reach. Swift healing is crucial to counteract the Erosion effect from sword slashes.
Co-Op Mode and Matching
Co-Op Mode can be a game-changer, especially if you lack Natlan characters with Nightsoul Blessings. Enter the domain and click the 'Match' button to join other players' worlds, making it easier to tackle the Pillar phase together.
Fortunately, unlike some other Weekly Bosses, the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire does not have multiple phases, though it still requires a significant amount of time and strategy to defeat.
