After over two years, fans of Grand Theft Auto V on PC have a reason to celebrate. A major update is set to launch on March 4, bringing the PC version up to speed with the console versions that were updated in 2022. This update, arriving free of charge, will automatically transfer all your progress in both GTA Online and the Story Mode without any additional steps required.
The highlight of this update is the significant enhancements to GTA Online. PC players will now have access to a vast array of content that was previously exclusive to console users. Moreover, the GTA+ subscription service is making its way to PC, offering numerous benefits such as accelerated profit collection from in-game businesses. Rockstar Games has also beefed up its anti-cheat measures to ensure a fairer gaming environment.

Alongside gameplay improvements, the update introduces substantial graphical enhancements. However, this comes at the cost of increased system requirements. Players with hardware that cannot meet these new demands will have the option to continue playing the older version, which will still be supported by the developers. It's important to note that there will be no cross-version support, meaning players on different versions won't be able to play together. Keep this in mind when deciding whether to upgrade.
