Next week, Bethesda will release Update 3 for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, as announced. While full patch notes are forthcoming, Bethesda’s initial tweet highlights fixes, improvements, and the addition of Nvidia DLSS 4 support, including Multi-Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
Players eagerly anticipate these improvements, hoping Update 3 addresses several game-breaking bugs plaguing the title since its early December launch. Bethesda previously indicated February's update would introduce enhanced graphics options and bug fixes targeting issues preventing some players from achieving 100% completion and hindering traversal in Sukhothai (vine climbing and squeezing through walls). The extent to which these specific issues are resolved remains to be seen.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, available on PC and Xbox Series X|S (and day one on Game Pass), has already attracted 4 million players. This MachineGames title, a critical and award-winning success (including three D.I.C.E. Awards), is slated for PlayStation 5 release this spring.
Harrison Ford, the iconic Indiana Jones, commented on Troy Baker's portrayal of the character, stating in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that Baker's performance proves "you don't need artificial intelligence to steal my soul." Ford expressed his satisfaction with Baker's (known for his role in The Last of Us) performance, emphasizing the talent and creativity behind it. He stated, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
