Get Ready for Monster Hunter Wilds' Second Open Beta!
Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Don't fret! A second chance to hunt arrives in early February, boasting new monsters and content. Find out how to join the action!
A New Beast to Conquer
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced a second Open Beta Test on the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel, offering players another opportunity to experience the game before its February 28th launch.
The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time, you'll face the Gypceros, a familiar foe from the series!
Carry over your character data from the first beta, ready for transfer to the full game. Note: Game progress won't be saved. Beta participants earn rewards—a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a helpful bonus item pack—for the full game.
Tsujimoto explained the second beta's purpose: to give those who missed the first a chance to play, and to provide additional feedback. While post-launch updates are underway, these improvements won't be included in this beta test.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Prepare for the hunt!
