Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional events launching this January. Let's dive into the specifics.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 extravaganza will span three days in three different cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

Further details will be revealed in March, but Niantic reminds players that event specifics are subject to change. We'll keep you updated!

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, gameplay features, and bonuses. In-person events, requiring ticket purchases, provide unique experiences within each host city.

Expect rare Pokémon encounters impossible to find through standard gameplay, increased Shiny Pokémon rates, and location-specific habitat spawns. In-person attendees will also enjoy exclusive merchandise, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges. While specific details remain under wraps, expect a similar format to previous years.

Two More January Events!

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two exciting events for January:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 8:00 pm (local time). Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni. Shroodle and Grafaiai debut, hatching from 12km Eggs. Encounter Shadow Pokémon like Snivy and Tepig, and possibly a fashionable Croagunk!

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (local time). Capture Shadow Ho-Oh in Five-Star Shadow Raids. A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids. Shiny Ho-Oh and its signature move, Sacred Fire (via Charged TM), are also up for grabs!
