Pokémon GO is introducing Dynamax Pokémon in its upcoming Max Out season! This exciting addition will be accompanied by a range of in-game events and rewards. Prepare to GO big!

Max Out Season: September 10th - September 15th

The Max Out season kicks off on September 10th at 10:00 a.m. local time and concludes on September 15th at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Pokémon Go Dynamax Confirmed for Max Out Season

Dynamax Pokémon Debut:

The season's launch will feature 1-star Max Battles with the following Dynamax Pokémon:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Skwovet
  • Wooloo

Trainers can battle and catch these Dynamax Pokémon, including their shiny variants! Caught Dynamax Pokémon, and their evolutions, can also be Dynamaxed.

In-Game Events and Rewards:

  • Special Field Research: Complete event-themed tasks for rewards.
  • PokéStop Showcases: Showcase your event Pokémon for a chance at prizes.
  • Seasonal Special Research: A story-driven research line focused on Max Battles, rewarding Max Particles and a new avatar item (available September 3rd - December 3rd).

Pokémon Go Dynamax Confirmed for Max Out Season

Max Particle Pack Bundle:

A bundle containing 4,800 Max Particles will be available for $7.99 on the official Pokémon GO web store starting September 8th at 6:00 p.m. PDT. Max Particles are crucial for Dynamax battles.

Future Updates:

Rumors point towards the arrival of Power Spots next month, serving as key locations for Max Battles, Dynamax Pokémon encounters, and Max Particle collection. While unconfirmed by Niantic, this is exciting news for trainers.

Further details on Dynamax battles are promised by Niantic in the coming days. According to a Eurogamer report, Pokémon GO senior producer John Funtanilla mentioned that some Dynamax-capable Pokémon will also be able to Mega Evolve. However, information regarding Gigantamax Pokémon remains scarce, despite its tease at this year's Pokémon Worlds.
