In my view, the developers faced a dilemma: either make trading as unrestricted as possible or eliminate it entirely. While they rightly pointed out the potential for bots and exploitations, such measures might only serve as minor hurdles for determined users. The trading currency and card limitations may not be enough to prevent exploitation.
I remain hopeful that the upcoming rework of the trading system will address these issues effectively. A well-implemented trading feature could significantly enhance the digital TCG experience, positioning Pokémon TCG Pocket as a strong alternative to its physical counterpart.
