Get ready, Pokémon fans! The digital card game, Pokémon TCG Pocket, is about to get even more dazzling with the introduction of Shiny Pokémon in the upcoming Shining Revelry expansion. Set to launch on March 27th, 2025, this expansion promises over 110 new cards, featuring Shiny versions of beloved Pokémon like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. These Shiny cards will literally sparkle when tilted, adding a new level of excitement to your collection.
Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder to showcase your prized Shiny cards. But that's not all; the expansion will also introduce Pokémon and Trainers from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet series, including Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono.
From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, giving you the chance to earn a deck ticket that can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks. This is a fantastic opportunity to bolster your collection and dive deeper into the game.
Shiny Pokémon have been a staple in the Pokémon TCG for years, with their first appearance in the Neo Destiny set from the second generation of the games. The Hidden Fates set later set the standard for modern Shiny cards with its extensive Shiny Vault.
