Seasun Games has just unveiled the latest update for Snowbreak: Containment Zone, dubbed the Abyssal Dawn, bringing a fresh wave of excitement with new characters and a slew of engaging events. Let’s dive into all the details so you can make the most out of this update.
The Abyssal Dawn Has Begun in Snowbreak: Containment Zone
Introducing Nerida – Styx Envoy, a new character armed with an assault rifle. Her Ultimate is particularly noteworthy, as it continues to deal damage even when she's off the field. On the other hand, Nita – Pulse focuses on thermal damage and wields a shotgun, designed for skill-based gameplay and featuring a chilling new QTE mechanic.
The update also brings a variety of new outfits to the game. Nerida sports the Dawn’s Command, while Nita dons the Sylvan Spirit. Additionally, Nita’s Grove of Secrets bundle includes not only an outfit but also a weapon skin and an interactable scene, enhancing the immersion.
Other characters get new looks as well: Katya – Dawnwing is now seen in Classy Elegance, Bubu – The Geomancer in Vitality Checkup, Fenny – Starshine in Nitro Nova, and Yao – Winter Solstice in Tidy Marksmaid. The latter outfit serves as a compensation for Yao’s earlier censored swimsuit.
Tons of Events to Explore!
Kicking off today is the Pulse Puzzle, a permanent event where you can unlock Nita early by solving in-game puzzles tied to her backstory. On April 28th, the Emotional Purge event begins, running until May 29th, 2025, introducing 3D cover shooter gameplay with cover vaulting and impressive motion effects.
Starting May 1st, Nita’s Invitation offers another permanent event where you can unlock her maxed-out Auctus Drive, her signature weapon, and a fixed-talent logistics squad, all for free.
Additionally, players can now revisit main story stages if they missed any details or simply want to relive their favorite moments.
