Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!
PlayStation's X/Twitter announcement showcased NetEase Games' rendition of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. Originally designed by Insomniac Games for Marvel's Spider-Man, this sleek suit, distinguished by its white spider emblem, makes its appearance in Marvel Rivals, marking a surprising collaboration with Sony and their console-exclusive title. The Advanced Suit 2.0 will swing into the in-game store on January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2's PC release.
This addition to Marvel Rivals' already impressive roster of unlockable suits is particularly noteworthy. The Advanced Suit 2.0's connection to the popular PlayStation series is further enhanced by the return of Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Spider-Man. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in Insomniac's Spider-Man trilogy and lends his talents to Marvel Rivals' version of the character, ensuring a familiar experience for players.
NetEase's inclusion of the Advanced Suit 2.0 adds to the excitement surrounding Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which launched last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four, with The Thing and Human Torch slated to arrive shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has also promised at least one new hero every six weeks.
While awaiting the Advanced Suit 2.0, explore player-created custom skins, the Season 1 balance changes, and a clever Invisible Woman tactic used to detect suspected bot players.
