Nightdive Studios' revamped version of the 1999 sci-fi horror RPG, originally titled System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, will now launch as System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. This updated edition is expanding its reach to include the Nintendo Switch.
The System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will soon be available on Windows PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
The official synopsis reads:
The year is 2114. Awakening from cryo-sleep aboard the Von Braun starship, you find yourself with amnesia, amidst a catastrophic event. Nightdive Studios has confirmed a release date and new trailer reveal will take place during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025.
