In addition to the Official Exhibitor Programs, several developers and publishers will host their own streams during the event. Companies such as Bandai Namco, KOEI TECMO, and Square Enix will present their content on their respective channels, which may overlap with the Tokyo Game Show's official schedule.
Notable highlights from these streams include KOEI TECMO's upcoming Atelier Yumia, Nihon Falcom's The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki – Farewell, O Zemuria, and Square Enix's Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.
Sony Returns to the Tokyo Game Show this 2024
After a four-year hiatus from the main exhibit, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is making a comeback at the Tokyo Game Show 2024. Joining other major publishers like Capcom and Konami, Sony's return is highly anticipated. While last year they were only present in the Demo Play area for indie games, this year's lineup remains a mystery. Sony announced many of their 2024 releases during a State of Play in May, and they have confirmed no major new franchise releases until April 2025.
