Crab Cages are widely distributed throughout the Fisch map, frequently sold near merchants. An exception is Mushgrove Swamp, where they're located near the watchtower. Here's a comprehensive list of locations:

Similar to rods, Crab Cages are ground-based items. Simply target them to purchase. Multiple cages can be bought at once by specifying the desired quantity. Fortunately, they're inexpensive, costing only 45 C$ each.
How To Utilize Crab Cages in Fisch
After acquiring Crab Cages, deployment is straightforward. Head to any shoreline, pick up a cage, and place it in the water. Crucially, maintain sufficient distance between cages, as indicated by a green visual cue on the water's surface.
Placement isn't limited to shores; any body of water will suffice, provided the player is on solid ground. For offshore deployment, use a small vessel like a surfboard.
Once deployed, allow approximately five minutes. A sound effect and glowing cages signal a successful catch.
