A free SVG painting app: PainterSVG

PainterSVG is a W3C-standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) editor. Unlike bitmap images, SVGs aren't pixel-based; they're built from shapes defined by their attributes. This means scaling SVGs to larger sizes results in no loss of quality.

This application offers these features:

• Create and edit basic shapes: lines, circles, rectangles, etc.
• Create and edit paths: easily manipulate straight lines, cubic Bézier curves, and quadratic Bézier curves by dragging control points.
• Simple stroke and fill definition for all shapes and paths.
• Flexible fill options: single colors, linear gradients, and radial gradients.
• Intuitive element selection, movement, resizing, and rotation.
• Easy zoom functionality.
• Grouping and ungrouping of elements.
• Import and export of SVG files.
• Export to PNG (transparent background) or JPG (white background).
