ScrapFactoryAutomation: A First-Person Automated Manufacturing Simulation
ScrapFactoryAutomation is a 3D, first-person simulation game centered around automated manufacturing. Boasting impressive graphics and mechanics, the game challenges players to build and expand their own factory.
Initially, resource gathering is manual – collecting iron, copper, coal, stone, and wood by hand. However, the core gameplay loop involves progressively automating production using mines, specialized scrap mechanics, and conveyor belts. Constructing buildings such as smelters (for ore processing) and factories (for crafting complex materials) is crucial for efficient production. A power plant, also automated using scrap mechanics, ensures a consistent electricity supply.
A key element is the creation of a unique conveyor belt system. Players design and expand production chains throughout the factory, utilizing tools to build interconnected networks and specialized buildings to manage resource flow along the belts. Crafting recipes are a significant aspect, allowing for diverse manufacturing possibilities limited only by the player's creativity.
The game encourages iterative improvement. Players start with manual resource extraction, gradually automating processes as resources allow. The ultimate goal is to create a completely self-sufficient manufacturing operation – a challenging task that tests players' skills and ingenuity. Players are encouraged to share their creations via email.
