Among Us 3D: A First-Person Perspective on Deception
Innersloth, the creators of the wildly popular Among Us, are launching a new dimension of deception with Among Us 3D. Building on the success of their VR adaptation, Among Us 3D delivers the classic gameplay in a fully immersive first-person experience, playable without a VR headset.
The core mechanics remain intact, but reimagined for standard gaming setups. A recently released teaser trailer hints at the enhanced visual experience of tasks, emergency meetings, and sabotage from a character's perspective. Players can get a sneak peek during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival with a free demo.
While a precise release date is still under wraps, Among Us 3D will initially launch on PC, optimized for keyboard and mouse controls. A revamped user interface promises improved accessibility. Excitingly, cross-play functionality will unite players of Among Us 3D and Among Us VR, though the original Among Us will remain a separate entity.
Innersloth is also planning to introduce a new in-game currency, Stardust, in the coming months. This will unlock expanded customization options, allowing players more ways to personalize their avatars and contribute to the game's ongoing development.
