Discover All Side Story Spots in Split Fiction

While *Split Fiction* offers a straightforward and linear co-op adventure, the game is enriched with numerous Side Stories that allow players to veer off the main path. These optional narratives, found within Chapters 2 through 5, may not be essential to completing the game, but they harbor some of the most memorable and enjoyable moments. From transforming into pigs to participating in a thrilling game show, these Side Stories add depth and fun to the experience. Completing all 12 of them also unlocks the "Bookworms" achievement, making them a must-do for those aiming to fully immerse themselves in *Split Fiction*. Here's a comprehensive guide to finding every Side Story.

How To Find All Side Stories in Split Fiction

Within Chapters 2 through 5, you'll encounter a total of 12 Side Stories, with three in each chapter. These stories not only enhance your gaming experience but also contribute to earning an achievement. Let's dive into how to locate each one.

Legend of the Sandfish – In Chapter 2, you'll naturally encounter this first Side Story after completing the Rush Hour section. It's unmissable.

Farmlife – Also in Chapter 2, find this Side Story in the Streets of Neon section. After hopping over a small barrier and before reaching the elevators on the left, you'll find it.

Mountain Hike – The last Side Story in Chapter 2 is in the Big City Life section. When you reach the Port-A-Pottys, have Mio enter one, then use Zoe to throw her to a ledge opposite them. Mio should drop a ladder, allowing access to the Side Story.

Train Heist – The first Side Story in Chapter 3 is located in the Lord Evergreen section. While navigating water with a plank of wood, find the Side Story on a ledge that Mio and Zoe must wall run to reach.

Gameshow – In Chapter 3's Walking Sticks of Doom section, locate this Side Story on a platform after the side-scrolling section. A bit of platforming is required to reach it.

Collapsing Star – The final Side Story in Chapter 3 can be found in the Halls of Ice section as you traverse the palace. It's on the main path and impossible to miss.

Kites – In Chapter 4, find the first Side Story in the Toxic Tumblers section at the end of a long tube.

Moon Market – In Chapter 4's Test Chamber section, after opening the door post-crane sequence, look for this Side Story on a ledge to the left, accessible through some platforming.

Notebook – The last Side Story in Chapter 4 is in the Soaring Desperados section. Once you get the jetpack, avoid the giant wheel and hover to the left side of the room where the Side Story awaits.

Slopes of War – The first Side Story of Chapter 5 is in the Water Temple section. After hatching your dragons, solve the lever puzzle on the left after crossing the golden balls to unlock this Side Story.

Space Escape – In Chapter 5's Craft Temple section, find this penultimate Side Story after defeating the dragon. Launch Mio to a ledge using her glide and Zoe's roll, then have Mio drop a column for Zoe to climb.

Birthday Cake – The final Side Story of *Split Fiction* is in Chapter 5's Treasure Temple section. Complete the soul puzzle to find it on your left.

Once you've completed all 12 Side Stories, the "Bookworms" achievement will automatically unlock in *Split Fiction*.

*Split Fiction* is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
