Strategic Use of Tarot Cards

Due to their unpredictable nature, it's advisable to use Tarot Cards in a safe area, such as near a hiding spot or the entrance, to facilitate a quick escape if a negative card is drawn (like the dreaded Death card).

Each card triggers an immediate effect upon use. However, there's a chance of drawing "The Fool," a neutral card resulting in no effect. You can draw up to ten cards without impacting sanity. Duplicate cards yield the same effect.

Tarot Card Effects and Probabilities

The following table outlines the ten possible Tarot Cards, their effects, and their respective probabilities:

Understanding Cursed Possessions in Phasmophobia

Cursed Possessions (or Cursed Objects) are high-risk items that randomly appear on Phasmophobia maps, offering gameplay manipulation at the cost of significant risk to the player characters. Unlike standard equipment, they don't provide evidence but offer strategic advantages or disadvantages. Only one Cursed Possession spawns per contract (unless modified in Custom settings), each appearing in a predetermined location. Seven Cursed Possessions exist in the game.

This concludes our guide on utilizing Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia. Consult The Escapist for further Phasmophobia guides and news, including achievement and trophy information.
