Misty Island, a key location in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, presents a thrilling challenge for players. This guide details how to access the island and conquer its various obstacles to collect all its Power Cells and Scout Flies.
Accessing Misty Island
Before venturing to Misty Island, you must complete a task in the Forbidden Jungle: help the fisherman catch 200 pounds of fish. This earns you a Power Cell and access to the Speedboat in Sandover Village, your transportation to the island.
Challenges and Rewards on Misty Island

The Sculptor's Muse: Locate and capture the golden creature near the docks. This requires skillful platforming and chase sequences. Return the Muse to the Sculptor in Sandover Village for a Power Cell (save this for later).

Blue Eco Power Cell: Use Blue Eco to power a Precursor Platform, bridging a gap to reach a hidden Power Cell. This is located to the right of the area where you initially found the Muse.

Dark Eco Pool Power Cell: Engage in an arena battle against waves of Lurkers. Utilize their dropped Red Eco to your advantage. Once victorious, climb the revealed stairs to the Dark Eco Pool and claim the Power Cell.

Lurker Ship Power Cell: Cross the bridge to the Lurker Ship and climb to its top to acquire another Power Cell.

Cannon Power Cell: Ascend the ramp, dodging rolling logs, to reach the cannon. Defeat the Lurkers guarding the cannon and claim the Power Cell. Use the cannon to destroy metal boxes in the arena below for additional Precursor Orbs.

Balloon Lurker Power Cell: Use the Zoomer vehicle to destroy five Balloon Lurkers in the bay. Careful maneuvering is needed to avoid explosive mines.

Zoomer Power Cell: Utilize the Zoomer to navigate a challenging path, culminating in a jump to reach a floating Power Cell.

Scout Flies: Seven Scout Flies are scattered across Misty Island. Their locations are detailed below:
- Fly 1: Located on a cliff accessible by using a seesaw and ground pound during the Muse chase.
- Flies 2 & 3: Found near the arena entrance, requiring precise jumping across crumbling paths.
- Fly 4: On a cliff overlooking the bay, accessible via a seesaw.
- Flies 5 & 6: Located on and near the Lurker Ship.
- Fly 7: Near the top of the ramp used for the Zoomer Power Cell.
After collecting all Power Cells and Scout Flies, remember to return the Sculptor's Muse to complete your Misty Island adventure.
